Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days after payment has been received. During busy periods, such as the lead-up to Christmas, dispatch can take a little longer.

Bulky Items delivery within Australia Calculated on check-out for most locations. Some locations will require us to manually quote.

If you have requested your parcel to be left when no-one is home, Shop of Toys takes no responsibility for any loss or damage of goods.

If an order is returned to us by Australia Post or a Courier company due to non-delivery, a return fee of $10 will be payable in addition to any postage costs for resending the parcel if you would like it re-delivered again.

Please ensure you enter the delivery address correctly (including business name if being delivered to a business premises) and check it again when you receive the order confirmation email.

If you were not home on an attempted delivery and the delivery company has left a collection card or re-delivery card, please ensure you arrange collection or re-delivery promptly to avoid the parcel being returned to us. 

 

Warehouse Pickup

Orders can be picked up from 1/287 Victoria Road, Rydalmere NSW 2116. It is located in the industrial complex situated after Aldi, opposite Jaycar and before Bunnings.

If turning left on Victoria Road (ie. heading to Parramatta), after going through the entry boom gate, turn left and then the next right. Our warehouse is located just before the T-junction.

Drop-in pickup times are Mon to Wed, Fri - 12:30pm to 4:00pm, and Thu - 1pm to 6pm. During November/December, we will also be open for pick-ups on Saturdays 12:30pm to 4:00pm.

Pickups not collected within 7 business days, may incur a $1 per day holding charge if no prior arrangements were made.

 

 

Delivery Times

Orders are shipped from Sydney, NSW.

We do our best to dispatch orders within 2 business days, except for KidKraft and Plum items which are shipped directly from the Australian distributor. On busy periods, the dispatch times could extend by a day or two.

Estimated delivery times within Australia are 1 to 10 working days. Most should arrive within 5 working days. If not, please check tracking progress (via shipping confirmation email). For some folks, it may take the full 10 working days for orders to be delivered.

Express Post Shipping AustPostExpress

Express Post is offered as an additional service for orders that need to be delivered quickly. Our system is configured to offer Express Post for eligible items.

Orders with express post shipping received by 11am AEST on a business day will be dispatched on the same day. Express Post orders received after 11am AEST will be dispatched on the following business day if not earlier.

 

Gift Wrapping

If the whole order is a gift, we can wrap the ordered items with tissue paper or similar kind, and include a handwritten message. If you wish to take up this offer, please specify as such and/or your message in the comment box (located bottom right-hand side in the checkout page). 

 

Order Tracking

Orders are posted using either

A tracking number is provided once the order is posted, except for some small items.

If you haven't received an email with the tracking number, please check the Spam folder. Mail systems attempt to shield you from as many junk mail as possible, this may cause our emails being directed to your Spam folder. Pre-order or Backorder Items (items marked as pre-order or backorder)

Orders including pre-order and back order items will usually be delivered in a single shipment.  If you require delivery of items to be separated, additional shipping charges might apply, please enquire.

 

Norfolk Island Deliveries

While we consider Norfolk Island to be part of Australia and welcome customers from Norfolk Island, most carriers, other than Australia Post, consider Norfolk Island to be an 'international destination' and their delivery charges are priced accordingly. Additionally, they require customs declarations and other paperwork required for international shipping. We have no problem shipping orders to Norfolk Island using Australia Post and we find Australia Post's shipping charges to be reasonable. The only limitation is that Australia Post will not carry parcels that are in excess of 20 kgs or longer than 1.05 meters. 

If you do happen to order an item that is heavier or larger than these dimensions, while our website will accept your order we do reserve the right to cancel the order or amend the delivery charge to reflect our actual cost subsequent to the order being placed. If we have to cancel the order we will immediately refund any payments made.

 

International Shipping

We offer limited items with international shipping to NZ, UK, USA and Canada.

Please add the items to the shopping cart and select your delivery country during check-out, if the delivery is available, the system will calculate the shipping fees. 

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of Australia may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient.

Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Please note, any non-delivered parcels that are returned to us will incur a $10 return fee and order postage cost is non-refundable.
