GoldieBlox kits are essentially mechanical-based construction kit, designed to appeal to young children. Aim of GoldieBlox is to get kids, particularly girls, interested in building/engineering. Although there is a lot of emphasis on the kits being designed for girls, it can appeal to boys as well.
Currently 3 kit sets have been released in Australia: Spinning Machine, Parade Float and Dunk Tank. Each set will have parts that the others don't, as well as common parts such as axles, blocks and wheels. All kits are compatible with each other, which means bigger models can be built if you have more kits/parts.
